SOCOM: owned on GB?

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas - Vegas Tops SOCOM Traffic On GB - Xbox 360 News at GameBattles

That's sad...SOCOM got taken up by an XBOX game.

I don't normally care about this stuff...but that's sad.

I cant say im suprised, the creators have done such a poor job at maintaining, Sonys TOP online franchise, that I wouldnt be suprised if Resistance surpasses socom also. I mean I assume that resistance at least has frequent updates..

Wrong section man, should go to General Discussion but oh well.

Most of the people who quit SOCOM and got 360 mostly have Rainbow Six: Vegas. I feel sad for SOCOM player though.

I don't really see that as sad considering R6V is a next generatin title for the 360 while SOCOM is still chugging away on the PS2. Anyway, this happened last month, I remember reading it somewhere. It's not like SOCOM can stay #1 forever. This basically shows that times are changing, and people have other interests in different types of games.

It was only a metter of time. SOCOM has been dead ever since CA was released. I think CA actually killed the series on the PS2, rather than helping it. I know it did for me, since I haven't touched Socom 3/CA since around November I believe.

I think it's more like S3 killed the series and CA shot it in the face to make sure it was dead.

Fixed for you. I would rather a GameCube than an original Xbox, and I'm dead ****ing serious.

And good point b0b. At first I thought S3 was the ****, but the more I played, the more it sucked. I didn't even bother with CA...

Socom is still the foundation for Gamebattles, and as soon as all of those xbox loser's realize that the site has been ran on 1 game for a couple of years. The better.

How? Everyone that's on there came from Socom. 30% of the active people on Vegas and Gears just recently got a 360 and quit/sold Combined Assault because it blows. GB can't help it, the game isn't as good as the past versions.
