I just said the song was funny thats all.

The reason I mentioned the quality because at points it was really good and others it was awful. Over all I thought it was a good video. You need to teach me how to zoom in on one part of the screen that was cool.

Soprano, what kind of music do you listen to? I gaurantee it's some mainstream garbage and/or (c)rap.

As I lay Dying is about as Mainstream as a band can get. Their band name is about as redudant as most other "Metalcore" band names which shows their lack of "craftmanship" or dare I say lack of "techne". There instruments are a total insult to any above average musical group. Hitting the same three chords over and over again with a constant change of tempo is insulting to listen to. Please, if you want to criticize others be able to back it up and look at yourself in the mirror. If you desire to listen to above average "Metal" (Metalcore is a joke genre name) then you should listen to Meshuggah, who atleast changes up their riffs, formulates actual song structure, and experiments like true Musical artists.

P.S. I suggest listening to "Between the buried and Me" although the band name is quite similar to "As I lay dying" their riffs are somewhat thrilling and would be a good transition from listening to Teen angst trash. Then ofcourse you may step up to big boy music such as "Meshuggah" :).

Let me state the obvious. Baby does not know the first thing when it comes to music. If you're calling AILD mainstream, you might as well ask what music is. The band name is based off a book. I don't like the term metalcore, it sounds pretty lame. However, BTBAM (who I like) fall into that same genre.

Based on your musical "assesment" I think it's safe to say you have no knowledge of instruments. If songs have different rifts and tunes throughout, the song would just be noise. Ever heard of a chorus? Apparently not. I would give you the definition of it, but I don't think you could understand it.

Not much needs to be said towards Soprano, he's about as dumb as a bucket of shrimp.

AILD is far from mainstream, 1 music video on MTV doesn't automatically make them mainstream, or else practically every damn metalcore band would be. Steve is right, they got their name from a famous book but don't really other than that have any other corrolation to the book.

I do listen to BTBAM, btw, just not on my last.fm yet becuase I just stared couple weeks ago/don't overly like them that that much.

By mainstream I mean they probably listen to **** like Green Day or some other sh1tty band, idk.

But saying AILD is emo is like saying Children of Bodom is hard rock. Wtf, it makes no sense whatsoever. The kid probably doesn't even know what the lyrics are about, or know the lyrics period.

My name was in the video (woowoo) while you were busy killing yourself on that metal walkway I entered the room, so 1000/10.

But seriously there were one or two really nice snipes in there. And you're one of the very few who actually scope in with an auto in a gunfight at medium range props on that. Quality was so-so pretty decent but nothing special perfectly watchable though. Songs, meh when I watched it I was sort of in the mood for that type of music (I bounce back and forth like now I'm listening to a mix of an old Biggy smalls song) but I can see how it's not everyones taste. I must agree the second song is an acquired taste my roomie listens to that type of stuff all the time (even heard that song from him) and I'm getting used to it.

The gunfight with deathabit when you killed muk right after was awesome.
