Recording with a tv tuner.
Well today I was given a tv tuner. I dunno why i just was. So I am not the best computer person in the world, but I was wondering if I can record SOCOM with it. I am from Tennessee so don't use big words please.

Yes, you can. I've recorded briefly with mine. The TV Tuner should have instructions that tell you how to set it up. If you encounter problems look for troubleshooting guides in the manuals that come with it. I might be able to assist you, but the chances are probably slim that I'd be able to help you if the books can't.

Did they give you a plug with Composite and S-Video and what's the name of your TV Tuner?

This one right? You can plug a S-Video cord to Vid-In. You have to play on the compute though.

Nah, get this.

Mad Catz - Universal S-Video / Audio Cable - BGS060150

Plug it behind the ps2, there's a S-Video cable that you can plug in the TV Tuner, and the other composite cord to the TV so you can play socom in the TV.

Why does everyone use S-video? Component is so much better...

But I'm pissed off because My DVD recorder is cheap and has no slots for S-video

Damn this is an old post but, I got a tv tuner and the madcatz cable..My question is. How would I connect the S-Vid from the cable to the tuner AND have the composite plugged into the tv at the same time?? The svid cord is only like 5 inches long..
