Dazzle 90 Problems

I just got dazzle 90, i also use the madcatz adapter like the example in the thread up top. Now when I use Windows Movie Maker it looks like Crap, the whole screen is choppy limited effects with the program etc...I try to use Vegas 6 to record the video and it says my dazzle 90 is being used by another program or doesnt work i dont understand..Can someone help me make the picture not choppy in Windows Movie maker or help with my vegas 6 problem, or even refer me to a new program to use? It would be appreciated.

Before you plugged in your Dazzle, did you install the Pinnacle software first? If you didn't, that's your problem with WMM.

Oh ok I did install, but quit when it was installing extra like music tracks, figured I wouldn't need them, so if I install that will it make wmm better? Because it still records on WMM its just not that clear, could my tv im on be an issue?

It's WMM. WMM always gives crappy quality, unless you have a Godly computer. But I would use Vegas or Studio (Studio comes with the Dazzle) to record and edit. The quality comes out much better and there are many more effects.

What I have found with WMM is that when you are makign the video in it, and you preview it, it always is horrible quality. But once you save it as a Movie file the quality is greatly improved.

Well you mentioned Sony Vegas 6 I have it but it wont capture video it say's dazzle is already in use and i have no other programs open..It's wierd like i said i use the madcatz with it like in the example the one guy has up top, any ideas on that? I really enjoy vegas features just cant get it to capture video..If anyone can help with that also i'd appreciate it.

I think it was exiting out of the setup that messed you up. I know when I plugged my dazzle in my comp and i didn't install my program, it didn't install correctly at all, and when i tried to record on WMM, it was like weird...no vid, i don't know, can't really explain. anyway, reinstall the programs for dazzle and let EVERYTHING install. open up WMM, capture vid, and like i said, set it to make it either 5mb or 7 per minute. capture. You can play on your tv, just hit capture and play off your tv, when u die, hit stop, and hit finish...it will make the vid...while ur dead (if u have time)...cut the film where you like want ur kill or w/e...and drag that to the timeline...then capture again...if you don't have time to cut it and all that, just capture again, it will save ur captured stuff under ur collections. as for vegas...i really think pinnacle studio is the same with hollywood fx (that comes if u register right away). just. maybe reinstalling EVERYTHING will fix the vegas problem, if not uninstall then reinstall. that's the only thing I can think of, but reinstall the dazzle software first.
