Recording through RFU cable
Recording SOCOM Through RFU Cable

Okay, I'm sure not all people have a TV that has AV connections. The older TV's only have an RFU connection.

In order to record SOCOM off an RFU TV, you first need an AV adapter (shown in the picture below). This is how you should connect it:

The RFU adapter that you use to connect your PS2 to your TV connects out from the AV adapter to your TV. The other end of the cables
go into your Dazzle. Use s-video for the best quality.

*NOTE: Make sure to install all the software that comes with the Dazzle as it installs the drivers needed for the Dazzle. If you just plug your Dazzle into your computer, it will reject it and you will not be able to use it.

For WMM (Windows Movie Maker), hit "capture video" and select the source "DVC 80/85/90/etc.(whatever you have)".

*NOTE: Make sure to stop recording once you die in order to save more space and time.

Good luck!

*If you have any questions, post them here or catch me on AIM.

Yeah, the quality is the best (in my opinion). I posted the SOCOM start-up vid in this section as well if you want to check it out. That's the quality of it. About the userbar, it took me awhile to do it, but yeah I think there is like 135 all together.

This turtorial is helpful but a bit unorganized... I was going to do one about there only being a cable input on your TV, but I'm not sure if thats what you did... no offence indented...

None taken first of all. I don't know if a cable input is what you're talking about. But if you are talking about that silver plug-in on some TV's, it's called an RFU plug-in. And that's what I talked about here. I had asked this to become a sticky, but I don't know. I wouldn't mind someone editing it, I mean it seems helpful to people who know what I'm talking about, but yeah maybe a little hard to understand for some. No offense intended there LOL. Anyway, I saw your thread about the cable input, it's different way of doing it (which is good). It might be a little more helpful than mine. Good stuff!
