for my setup, since my ps2 is upstairs and my pc is downstairs, i use an old hifi vcr, and i pop in a new vhs and record in SP which is the highest recording quality, to record my ps2 i put in the rca cable (yellow white and red cable) into the back of the vcr that says video/audio in and then have a rca cable with the yelllow red and white on both sides, and plug one end into the video/audio out and then plug that into my tv, then i set my vcr to record L (which is line, so i records directly from the ps2) and then once im done recording, i bring it to my computer which has an ati tv wonder pro capture card in it, and i plug the end of the rca cable that goes into the tv into the capture card plug. i then open up windows movie maker and hit capture video (you can also use vegas 6.0 or something for this) and select a good recording quality, and hit ok, then go to vcr and hit play, and b4 the vcr starts playing i hit start capture in windows movie maker. the vcr plays into the capture card and windows media records it, then i use vegas 6.0 to cut out and edit all of my stuff, using "text media" and then panning it and making it animate and stuff.
sorry if thats a lil unclear im mad tired, if theres something you dont get just post and ill explain, and btw keep downloading :)
