what are ur thoughts if a socom 4 came out

I would be happy, but I can bet it would be out for PS3. I don't have one anymore because I had to sell it to fix my car. If they made a version for each system I think less people would buy a PS3. So if they didn't more would buy a PS3 to play the new SOCOM.

After tha rant, I would be excited for another SOCOM.

I say no way. SOCOM has been getting destroyed more and more as they have progressed with new SOCOM titles. SOCOM 1 was awesome, SOCOM 2 was the best (but now look at it), SOCOM 3 was a huge slide down the hill and then they landed in a pile of crap known as Combined Assault. Making another one would just make it even more pathetic than it is now.

I disagree fully......In my opinion Socom has gotten better since S1. Bcuz with each new installment they allow more different ways of playing the game.

Its like Madden almost. Theres a little something new they threw in there for you to enjoy. So love it or hate it. I couldnt stand Socom CA/3 if it was the same 8v8 small map stuff we got in Socom 2. The large games and maps make you slow down and think about what ure doing and how u do it.

I agree, SOCOM has gotten much better as it has progressed IMO. I liked SOCOM 1, but was never able to get too into it, same honestly with 2 and 3, but I am hard core addicted to CA now, I don't want to even know how much time I wasted this weekend on my couch playing all day and night!

The main problem with SOCOM is simply glitchers and mod discs! If they could police that effectively the game would be damn near perfect!

Why Flame? He's obviously addicted to the game like I and many many others on this site. So dont go around calling people losers because they have a strong interest in something you dont.

Hmm...Let's point out some flaws in your post, shall we?

1. There was no flame in any way, shape, or form in my post.

2. I didn't call him or anyone else a loser in any way, shape, or form in my post.

3. Admitting that you have an addiction to a video game is a terrible thing to do IMO, but admitting IS the first step to recovery, so more power to you.

4. I do have an intrest in SOCOM, I just haven't played it in a LONG time due to my finding of bigger and better things.

LOL...after what I did to myself on St. Patties Day I needed a weekend off! Estimates had me in the high .30s, blood alcohol level....I think I took five years off my life, 11 straight hours at the bar! Now I just need to get a hold of the pictures and negatives so they can be destroyed!

Plus I'm going to the casino this weekend with my girlfriend. so last weekend was chill time since I won't get to play at all this weekend until maybe Sunday night. I don't recover as fast as I did in my 20's! Thank you for your concern about my social life...now if we could stay on topic please it would be greatly appreciated.

SOCOM CA does have flaws, don't get me wrong, every game does, but fact is, for the PS2, it's still the best one out there, depending on what you like. I know some who love the splinter cell games because of the stealth, but for running and gunning CA is the best you are going to get for the PS2 IMO. I wish you could have 60 players per server or something, just because more players means more killing, but life is full of those little disappointments.
