Exactly.
All the guns spray and people all die within 2-6 shots. As in Socom 1/2 , There was only spray towards the end of the clip of some guns. Most didnt have any spray, therefor you had to actually Aim the little dot in the middle of the crosshair on your target to get the kill, as opposed to now, where you just aim your crosshair anywhere near the target and get the kill. I've experienced sometimes where my crosshairs aren't even near the target and he dies, also, where my crosshairs are red for like 2 seconds and im unloading but my bullets are just shooting around him. I wish i could explain what im sayin in great detail, but i dont wanna take pics and ****. Im just saying. Hopefully you all can understand.

Let me explain.
In S1/2 it took skill due to accuracy. Why? Becuase you had to have your crosshairs ON THE GUY to kill him.
S3/CA doesn't take skill because you dont have to aim. These games reward bad aim/players.
Good day.

I hear this daily and to it I always tell them; in S3/CA, which have been made more realistic i that you can't sprint around firing full-autos and expect to hit anything, you need to take the time to aim.
S2: Run around randomely + clench trigger at people = win
S3: Run around randomely + clench trigger at people = lose, then whine about how they all spray now
OR (As I and some intelligent others have learned to)
S3: Run around and upon spotting enemy, slow movement for 1 second (which sucks the crosshairs back in) then unleash a quick, accurate as hell burst. = win
I always enjoy facing off with an enemy and seeing him dodge back and forth like a maniac, spraying all around and above me (no doubt simultaneously complaining about how S2 was better) and stand completely still, follow his dancing body, and take him down in just 4 or so shots, then imagine how he complains to his dead buddies about how "all da guns now just spray its BS now noobeez alwuz win" though I wasn't spraying at all.
Eh? eh?
There must be others who play like this, its VERY EFFECTIVE against people who are still stuck in S2 state of mind and think they can run full speed and swing crosshairs wildly while delivering accurate shots.

Touche Spook, touche.
I too use this method, but i still enjoyed it in S2 becasue i'm sick of the "realism" in these games.

While I do that a lot of times(slow down to shrink the xhairs and burst) a lot of times you don't have any time to do it, such as in really close maps where the person is in front of you. But people don't bother with that, they just hold down R1..because it works for them. The spray allows them to get the kills easily, because they're waving their xhairs across the whole screen and the bullets don't even go where they should(center of xhairs)..it seems to me people do that all the time just because it keeps on working for them.
Me, on the other hand..I hold down R1, and it tells the game to make an outline of the body on the wall behind the guy I shoot...which is why I burst, slow down, and only in close close quarters will I hold down R1..that is until someone is full autoing me from across the map, takes me down to red health within 1 second, then I get pissed and try full autoing him from across the map..:)

same here, the links dead
But anyway, I see what you're saying now. Personally I have a lot of trouble getting a kill due to the spray in S3/CA. Except Co-op, but thats on NPC's, which don't count.
In socom 1, there was no ride or recoil. In socom 2, most guns had ride, but little recoil (m14), but other guns had recoil (9mm sub, 552); The recoil guns in my opinion took more skill to master since the actual skilled people always owned you with their accurate guns, since they can aim (and is also why you can own noobs so easy with bad guns, they don't know how to aim which gives you time). Now in S3 or CA, you just put their bodies in the crosshairs and spray. NO skill whatsoever, and unrealistic.
Yes, unrealistic. If if was realistic, the second to fourth shot would go all over the ****ing place, but then from the fifth on you would come back down to your original position. Also, even if it didn't come down, the spray would be nowhere near the amount it is in the game. At the distances we shoot at in the game (for reference i'm thinking fault tunnels), all of our shots would still spray on their bodies or at least close(at least close at 20 yards). You would never be able to aim that far off without trying, and the bullets would not suddenly go from way below their bodies to above their heads without a conscious movement, or hard jerk rather. This all comes from my personal experience. And I'm sure SEALs would shoot even better.
