I am confused about single player and co-op?

ok i dont have this game yet but i will have it soon, but i am confused about the co-op and single player. is single player still the same where you control your 4 teammates like the old games, or do you have to play with other people on the internet in order to have a 4 man team. the reason why i am asking is because i dont have a network adaptor or high speed internet. so can someone please clear that up for me?

Single player campaign is just like it has been in the past 3 SOCOM's - you control your own player (Spectre) and order around the three retarted seals in your fireteam.

Co-Op is STRICTLY online. So if you don't have a network adapter, you can't play it. But just so you know, Co-Op just replaces the rest of your fireteam with real people. So instead of you and 3 computer controlled characters, it would be you and 1,2 or 3 other people playing the single player mode.

The missions and objectives are exactally the same in single player and Co-Op mode.
