Are there as many people playing now as there were during the Socom 2 era?

I played the hell out of Socom 2 and still think its better then the new ones...I just dont see why everyone loves playing these overdone, supression/demo maps over and over again with no viariety...anyway, back to my question, how many people peak out during the games best hours?

I agree that I had way more fun on Socom II.

During the peak hours of S3/S:CA it reaches the high teens (thousands) and may even hit the 20k mark.

As for S2, the last I heard they had about 5k people on during peak hours. But this was a year ago, so I don't know.

I would say there is more because of the fact that more people are catching on(many of which never played S1-S2)And the teen rating of CA has to have boosted sales at least a little bit.As far as fun I think each game has improved and declined in play equally.They add stuff we like/dont like and they take away what we like /dont like.The best game IMO in the series is S1.Thai medley in E8 forever was fun *** hell.
