Combined Assault Paintball!
An idea flew into my head when I was messing around in the Non-lethal Training exercise.
This will only work on Co-op, so just keep that in mind.
Each player (four players works best) equips the M4 with the F303 attachments and extra F303 rounds. You can choose any level, but levels in which I have tried it on thus far include: Disruption (inside the training camp), Stockpile (inside the bunker), Chokehold (inside the stadium or for a better "field" use the street outside), and Shepherd (mainly on the bridge).
Other maps are sure to work, I just haven't tried any others.
Set the game type to Recover and move throughout the map killing all enemies. Even if you come across the Briefcase, leave it alone. This way, you won't have to worry about enemy fire and can keep playing. You can decide the way you play for each map and such, but it's played like a basic game of paintball. On a command, the game starts and everyone is firing the F303. You can tell when someone is hit because they will be knocked back, probably running around, and the obvious red cloud. It's quite a lot of fun.
Another style of paintball has a similar concept to S2 paintball. Use sub-machine guns and split up into teams. Everyone has their weapon set to single-shot and everyone carrys a medkit. When someone dies, their teammate will revive them. The game continues until one team is dead with no medkits left. To make the game longer, if both members of one team get killed, the other team can revive them.
Anyway, let me know if you decide to try this out, it's a lot of fun. Also, post other maps that work for this.

Paintball is a good socom game. The first idea would be awesome if it was playable online with like 8 player teams.

I agree, but it's not possible. The advantage with less people is that you can tell who gets hit much easier than if you had another 12 people in the room.

Learn to read, chief.
There's a reason why this thread is titled COMBINED ASSAULT Paintball.
1SPER1, I know what you mean. The third game we played we didn't clear the entire area and a Mercenary with an MK mowed two of us down.

i agree. if you want a paintball game play a paintball game. we have one now. before we ps2 players didnt have a choice of paintball game, therefore playing a paintball version of socom wasn't such a bad idea, but now that we do why not just play that?
