The puff of smoke i have only seen on single player. On multiplayer i dont see anything when i shoot them. But the blood was nice, but im used to not having it now.
You can see they gray just fine but sometimes ill shoot a "Mercenary" and if hes close to a wall its hard to tell if I hit him or the wall. Seeing as they both give off a dust affect when shot.

Why did zipper take the blood out when u shoot someone, i mean i know its a teen rated game now but the blood splash really helps on aiming, now u cant tell if ur really hitting someone or not, think maybe they could put something in a new patch to show us if we are hitting someone or not
i dont find it a big deal, its not like socom was a bloody game anyways!!

The blood takes away the "reality" of the game. Its supposed to be an accurate(or close) depiction of real combat then WTF?Its never been aboutthe blood its just hit detection that we are all used to.
Red I am with you on"QUICK SNIPING IS FOR P*SSIES AND IS A GLITCH. A glitch is taking advantage of a game mechanic. By jumping and shooting while in scope is taking advantage of game mechanics. ITS A GLITCH."

Truthfully.....All I ever heard on SOCOM 2 and SOCOM 3 was, "What, how'd he not die....I saw blood all over him....." or something to that effect. So, even when it was in game....it seems to have really meant nothing.
