Positive thoughts on S:CA

Personally, I think Combined Assault is an excellent addition to the Socom franchise. The new maps are very nicely done, there are so many places to hide and buildings to interact with its just a dream come true. I felt that the maps in Socom 3 were a bit too sparse (i.e. big fields with not much of anything else) I am very glad to see that this is not the case with Combined Assault. I just hope we see map pack 2 soon, not that I am not content with the ten beautiful new map Combined Assault provides I just think its about time we get it already. But in conclusion Combined Assault lived up to my every expectation

yah i love this game but its hard without a headset, i think s2 and s3 with no headset were fine, but i have one..and just waiting for it to arrive.

Not to offend any members of the military.....but for all of us who have been part of the franchise since the beginning...how cool is it that Boomer is killed in the first single player mission? :)

The New Maps are Great Especially the new Snow Maps and the Map Aftershock...The new Name "Mercenaries" classic...and some of the guns have been updated and made alot better such as the shot guns...Sniper rifle ranges have been changed though...(Garbage)...But thats the only issue i see at the moment...

1) Snipers don't have infinite range. (good thing and bad thing)
2) Leaning and throwing a grenade works!!!! (I've tested it and it does work!)
3) Extended clips make it so we have F90 competitors.
4) When you shoot a sniper, sometimes you'll go out of scope from the unsteadiness. (good thing and bad thing)
5) And the maps are great!!!

Anyway, just remember that leaning and throwing grenades works. So lean away boys (and girls), lean away!

That SOB is finnaly dead? Memories of all the times killing Boomer in S1 at the beginning of the mission so he wouldn't **** everything up just came back.

New skins and maps are good. The sniper rifle finally has a range(if I remember correctly, it was 195.4 meters), and the new vehichles kick ***. It seems that Zipper is starting to think correctly. OH! I just remebered this. It is soooo fun to shoot enemies with the tear gas and bean bags. With two of the M870 bean bag(M4A1 and M16A2), you get 50 bean bags in total. Also, on single player, if you shoot your team members with four or five beanbags, they turn on you. For those of you that have not used the F303(teargas), here's what it does. With one attatched, you get three clips of fifteen rounds. You aim it with the 203 aimer, but it doesn't work like a 203, it hits in the middle of the reticule. When it hits, a small orange cloud appears, and stays there for a second or two. The effect is blindness. As for bean bags. They knock the enemy down, and it usually takes one or two.
