It's just so messed up. So many people play the SOCOM series and we get nothing besides a couple of maps for 6 bucks.. 6 bucks! It's messed up. They should be free.

Is it just me or have other people noticed all the glitches too? For example;

1. Sometimes when I try to get off ladders after climbing down them, it will automatically glitch me up halfway up the ladder and I cannot get down.

2. Sometimes when I'm outside and I try to climb a ledge, my character stands all the way up then slides backwards until he falls off it and I cannot get up it. I have no control over him when this happens.

(1. and 2. were both experienced OFFLINE.)


Me, my cousin and his friend hooked CA up on LAN today. We played the first mission on Co-Op and it froze for like 2 minutes. When it came back, my cousins friend had 239 knife kills and over 1,000 headshots. He just bought the game today. Brand new verified account, too.

I forgot my password for my Socom3 account, so I had to make a new one and verify it. When I did, I lost a cookie so I started playing a few ranked games. This was the first day CA came out. 2 Days later, only 1 game caught up, so I was 1-0. I've played over 50 ranked games the past week. Still, only 1 shows up when you look me up.

And what's up with those sausages in the maps? When you pick them up your guy goes like, "MMMMMMMmmmmmm... Spicy." It's so pointless. I don't get it. It's stupid as hell.

No blood also kinda pissed me off. It's not that big of a deal, but I did like seeing blood.

Seriously dude, you complaining about:

1. How bad you and your friends are at Co-op;
2. How stupid the 'sausages' are (even though you came up with a topic just as stupid as the sausages);
3. How you put a scratch on your CD and blame ever second that you freeze or every time you can't climb a ladder or something on Zipper/Sony;
4. How you are A.) Too lazy to retrieve your password B.) Too stupid to retrieve your password;
5. How 'bad' the ranking systems are (as if you could make a better one).

Cheese, complaining about losing a password and games not catching up are two COMPLETELY different things. Example;

I played ranked games, but it isn't showing that I did. WTF?!?!?!

Example of losing password rant; I can't believe there's no way to get your password back if you forget it. It's so retarded. I can't get back on my account anymore. This sucks.

DaLizard, regarding #3.. There's no scratch on my disk. It froze for ALL of us on LAN at the !SAME! time. Which would indicate either internet/router problems. When it unfroze, my cousins friend had unlocked a lot of things he didn't play for. Now how would that come from a scratched disk? Hmmm... Let's think. Not to mention that it only froze once.

Whatever, I still hate the sausages.

We aren't bad at Co-Op, it froze. When I was online playing it I was playing with random people who just sucked. I'd get far but eventually I ran out of medkits. I'm sorry I don't play at 100% efficency at 5:30 in the morning after staying up all night.

Too stupid to get my password? I put my password on the account the day Socom3 came out. I'm not perfect. I forget things too. Only human.

I never said that I could make a better ranking system. I wasn't actually ranting at the ranking system itself, but the fact that my games haven't caught up after a week.

Next time you try to make someone look stupid, make sure you're 100% sure you're talking about.

Trust me, I can understand server problems. Did you not read that a friend randomly got almost everything unlocked after the game froze? Or how I'm encountering glitches and problems offline completely unrelated and any server problems? I'm not only complaining about ranks. Thanks though.

I sure would love to play socom in some of these people's worlds. I honestly don't see how people can be so happy with this game. The hit detection is just Fuggin terrible even in offline line or Co-op. Me and my buddy would run up on guys in Co-op and we would just unload on them from like 5ft away. They'd get hurt and we'd quit shooting after about half a clip each. Then the guy would just get up and we'd have to shoot him again. The hit detection online is just terrible. I think its really all the servers or something. I use to MVP almost every map on S3 and could drop people in just a few hits at the end of S3 i could just unload on people and they would just drop me in one shot every fucl<ing time. Its exactly the same on Combined Assault. Also my game freezes quite often and it's never been out of the PS2. I took it out of the box looked at the disc and into the PS2 it went. My game will just freeze right after a map or mission is over it just goes black and never comes back up. My clanmates have had the same thing happen to them. Some people on this site say they've never had instances where they've walked up behind an unsuspecting guy and put their gun on an enemy's back/head and go full auto. Only to have their enemy get up and turn around killing them in one shot. It happens to me quite often. I just can't stand how in consistant the game is. I know on tidal fury i know you can jump off the roofs of the houses and not get hurt while if you fall off that little ledge in crucible right behind where the tank spawns you can lose a fair amount of life. I just want it to go back to the way it use to be.

i guess i got the golden disk from zipper then i dont understand why people complain you bought the game suck it up you got screwed just like everyone else. me though i havent had any proplems except the first two or three times i played and that was that the first game i joined would log me off the it would be fine i also had a mic problem in co-op but it got fixed. other than that my past couple days have been fine but i mostly play co-op and a tip for co-op never play with random people random people are idiots get with your friends and play on admirl the whole weekend its fun to me i already beat it once its pretty good. ps if you check out the movies in the extra screen i wish the graphics were that good but i liked the little movies they were pretty good

oh ya cj were the guys you were shooting in a black suit those bastards have some armor on they are merc's and have better guns better armor and if are basicly about as real as a person as you can get on socom i was trying to snipe while neeling and i shot one and the other opened up with a mk on me right were i was at and hit me a little crazy
