Negative thoughts on S:CA

Is it worth buying? ive been out of the socom loop for awhile and am starting to get back in, from what i have read, it seems this game might not be worth the money.

If you would only "READ" my 'rant' you would understand better. I'm not complaining about losing my password, genius, I'm complaining that it's been a week and the ranked games haven't caught up yet.

Why would you whine about updated ranks in CA when they obviously in the same exact state in s3...if you were to complain about ranks, then you would have to complain about CA AND s3.

Plus if you care about ranks that much, then just play on gb like i do....

I just like the shiney badge in the game lobby.

Not to mention, I think Co-Op sucks. Maybe it's because everyone I've played with sucked and died about 45 seconds into the mission, then I was left to play it all and kept failing.

I think it is well worth the money. Prior to CA's release I didn;t play Socom 3 for a good 3 months because I really just lost interest in it. I decided to pick up CA when it was released last week, and I'm having a blast. Being back with your friends and clan is awesome, and this game right is impressing me more than I thought it would.

For one, the stats are probably being recorded. Do you remember Socom 3 at all? The stats and **** were being recorded, but it was taking a long time for them to actually get updated in your profile. Why? Because the stats get recorded/updated IN ORDER, in terms of time.

Seen as how the game just came out, there's a lot of people playing it, which is a lot of stats that have to get updated. Add in the fact that there's still people on Socom 3, which is on the same server, and there's even more people for which the stats have to get recorded. Point is, it'll eventually come, and if not, boo hoo. Play some more games for them to get recorded. If you really think a game is bad just because a game happens to not get recorded, then you have some problems..

People have to stop worrying about Ranks, you will always have people who hack the rank system, hook up 10 socoms, glitch with their friends. I know its pathetic, but judge a game by its dynamics. I think its an improved game, but zipper seems to have really slacked off bigtime after S2, their next gen games better be off the charts. With all the money zipper created from producing 1 series its incredible. Between the games, mics, map packs, hard drives, flash drives, its crazy. And from the 1,000's of dedicated fans that have been online daily from s1, Zipper could be giving much more back to us.

I would atleast like to see something simple from zipper as actual weekly news or updates that actually come out on the date they state instead of fixing th rank system, that why I hope they read these forums and really see what the fans want back. I mean they create a decent game in SCA and take out blood, Is zipper just Fu-king with us or what.
