Socom Combined Assault is going to have 30 maps? Is it true. I am thinking its the new CA maps, then The S3 maps and then the S2 Maps if you download them all. Can some one fill me in?

ok? search what? im looking around and all i see is the new 12 maps or whatever..then i guess if u add all the new maps it adds to 30..i think thats to many...but oh well if im bored ill play some of them

That's a total of 29 maps that you could play on Socom: Combined Assault. That's if you buy S:CA, and both of the map packs.

Wow. 29 different maps. It could take an entire day to get through that medley.

And FYI: S:CA is not going to include the maps from the map packs. You gotta buy the map packs.

so then it has been posted cuz i see the thread titles..will you have to verify a screen name on Socom CA..sorry i didnt look i dont feel like looking..and i hear there will be a completly new map pack with new maps never seen before..true? or false? lol just wondering im getting so hyped up about this game i just pre-ordered it..

The truth is no one really knows.

It's a fact that you can keep your S3 name for S:CA, you just log in with it. As far as new accounts on S:CA and verifying, we don't know for sure.

If you ask me, yes, you will have to verify new names on S:CA for friends/clan/rank/etc. The reason being S:CA is on the same server as S3.

If Zipper sticks to their word, then yes. I remember a while back there was an interview about the map packs on IGN..they were planning on releasing 4 packs, and more if there was enough demand for them. They said they'd release classic maps from S1 and S2, as well as brand new.

Judging how the first map pack was the S2 HDD maps, and the 2nd is all Socom 1 maps, I'm taking a stab in the dark and saying that the 3rd pack will be all Socom 2 maps, and the last(4th pack) will have the all new maps.
