The denominator stays the same... they don't change if you add fractions...

Let me use example, it's easier to understand.

You used to have 5 apples, but you misplaced 2 of them. You now have 3 out of the 5 apples that you started with, and 2 out of the five are missing. You find one of the apples (1/5) and you add it to the collection of your apples that you had in the begining. You now have 4/5 apples. Not 3/10.

He was scoring the video so it's proper to add the denominators. If he didn't, the entire video would be worth the same as each of the two parts that make it up and that wouldn't make sense.

Im going to add to all the praise. Very nice vid, one of the best I've ever seen. I downloaded the [S3] V [ASQ] Vid. at the same time and watched that as well. Them two were the best vids. I've ever seen.

Ok, the video was pretty fun. Good for just a quick slapped together project.

Nothing really stood out for me. Song was good, and fit the movie.

It's not a matter of adding them together..he gave a score for 2 different parts of the video. Overall, you average the 2 scores together and you get 4/10.

Anyways, thanks for the comments everyone, especially to those who said this was the best Socom video they've ever seen..
