i finally learned how the red dot actually works, but before i go on let me just say that I've never seen a post about this thing so dont tell me that it's already been said , anyway, to make the red dot work you have to go into the scope itself, now i know there's quite a few of you that know this, but there are others (like me) who didn't/don't know this. and i have tested this with quite a few guns so HAH!

Dude, there is already a thread on this, http://www.socom3.com/showthread.php?t=51486
JK JK JK. The red dot is good for fun and gun and CQ levels like fault or the mines in crucible/citadel (not sure which one). It is good on the MK.48 coz it wont spray.
if you look at a gun when you add a red dot it gives you the same ammount of accuray increase as a front grip so I think of it as the front grip for people who dont want to beat the game. oh, and for the record, I dont use the red dot either (except for my HK5, but not anymore, F**K THE RED DOT!)

Yeah, I thoguht it was common knowledge. But a side note, 552 with rifle laser, and red dot, is 100% full accuracy, thought still not as accurate as Socom 2 ;-)
