ok take a look..




circled in red is the whole file..
circles in blue are scenes in the file (correct me if im wrong)
alright... i know how to edit the scenes below.. the thing is how do i erase the scenes i do not need from the file.. it seems the only way to do this is to erase th whole file but i dont want to do that... i wasnt to delete just the scenes..

Just delete them at the end of the video when your done.

okay, you see right under the player, there is a little trash can, and to the left of that is a little razor blade. play like the file you want to edit, and at the point you want to take out, hit the razor blade and it will cut it at that point and make another scene from the cut point. if you still want more video from the cut vid, do the same thing. also, i wouldn't make scenes from the captured vid cuz it takes up a lot of space. go under capture, hit capture source, and check "no scene detection". then, when u capture your stuff, it will just make one big scene...and you can simply edit it like you would with a lot of scenes.
