Okay, I know there's at least one Sticky Thread dedicated to teach people how to record SOCOM 3, yet it only pertains to people who use their PS2 on AV or RCA cables. However, there are still people, like myself, who have older TVs with no RCA capability. That is why Sony, and other manufacturers produce
the RFU adapter. Now, recording SOCOM 3 off of systems that only use this connection is actually the easiest way to record SOCOM. First, you'll need a Dazzle...80, 85, 90, etc. (whatever fits your budget). Also, you'll need
an AV adapter. Connect the AV adapter to the back of your PS2, then connect your
RFU adapter from the AV adapter to your TV as you normally have it. The AV adapter also has S-video capabilities, so you have the option of using the RCA cables to connect the PS2 to your Dazzle, the S-video to connect to your Dazzle, or as I do, connect both the RCA and S-video cables to your Dazzle (this provides the best quality). Start up SOCOM or any other game you want to record as you normally do. You can play on your TV thanks to the AV adapter, as well as record it on Windows Movie Maker, or Studio 9 (which comes with the Dazzle). Simply open any of the two programs you wish to use, and hit "Capture Video" when you want to record. I know many people have had this problem, so maybe this can help.
