Youve got the ranges ***-backwards. Suppressor 2 takes away 15 meters less range than Suppressor 1.

If you dont believe me, just go find out for yourself. Get an M4A1 or any other gun that can equip both and get a scope and suppressor 1 and see how far it shoots, then get suppressor 2 and see how far it can shoot.

I understand why you like them in firefights. One big advantage to someone who has sd gun , is that the enemy cant tell when ure reloading. But you can plainly hear when they have they stopped to reload. So you can move in for the kill.

Wow. I always thought Sup1 was just a less accurate Sup2 and nothing more. Now that I know Sup1 gives better accuracy I'll try switching it up a bit, thanks SHAST.
PS:I know how it feels to tell people the same thing over and over and still have to correct them. (My subject is grenades ;))

I play Single on S3 and what I noticed is that the Sup.2 gives me more range then the Sup.1 And that the Sup.1 gives me more silence. I know that this is suppose to be Vice Versa any one know what's going on?

Red Indicator?

Does anyone know the effect that suppressors have on the flashing red indicator when you are getting shot at? Does it disappear entirely so you have to look around wildly to find the assailant or does it just flash quicker and a bit "faded"...thanks!!!

Sorry, I am more of the "machine gunner" in my clan. I like to lay down suppressive fire while my team moves (thank you Full Spectrum Warrior!). It makes the enemy duck and give us that critical time to move to cover. Being that, I attract most of the fire, snipers, infantry, other gunners...etc. But when I do use a SD weapon, its almost always an M4A1 or an M8. I like using the longer suppressor, whatever number it is. Hide in a bush WITHOUT a ghillie, and still own blind n00bs looking east while I'll be west.

Yup you noticed correctly. For whatever reason, the descriptions for the suppressors is wrong. Theyre reversed. I noticed this like the second day after I got the game and Ive been trying to convince everyone since, but to no avail, because people STILL argue with me about it and the ignorance continues. Oh well.....their loss.

Ive tried switching between them, and the difference in sound is hardly noticable, there doesnt seem like a need for 2 types of supressors, because they are hardly any different.

For whatever reason, the descriptions for the suppressors are switched. You probably wont believe me so just keep on being ignorant, but if you feel like actually learning something, go try it out. Get an M4A1 and put suppressor 1 on it. Look at your weapon's range stat. Go back to the armory and put suppressor 2 on.... look at it's range stat.

If you STILL dont believe me, get a scope and an IW80A2 with suppressor 1. Check the maximum range. Then get suppressor 2 and check your maximum range. Youll see that its anywhere from 15 - 20 meters longer with suppressor 2.
Your stupid dude. Read the official strat guide. The suppressor 1 is the best because it has more range and is alot quieter. Personnaly i dont use suppressors anymore because i like the Hk36/552 with a front grip/rifle laser
best weapon set up because its accurate as hell and it doesnt have a limited range due to a stupid silencer.
