Yea i've thought of this trick before. Nice idea but i just would rather carry nades instead of PMN's. PMN's weigh too much and i couldnt stand camping in one spot waiting for someone to come along and blow them up. Good idea but just not my style.
Ah ok. I never really bothered trying it that much because like you said theyre heavy and I would much rather carry nades...so much more versitile
This way I don't blow all of them with one button press.
I use one next to area main entrance and put a few in other vital spots..Then I scope in on entracne.
I find this works wonders on some maps..better in demo then reg style.
Just plant a few in demo area...and scope one...when enemies go to plant(more often then not they run in a group to cover planter)....I shoot Claymore and take them out...then I detonate rest with trigger and get one or 2 more.
If you have time to shoot the mine, why dont you just shoot the guy?
LOL thats what i was thinkin. Maybe because he doesnt want to engage in a gun fight? Because he wants to keep his secret camping spot? hmmm...
Why would you waste all that time, ammo, and weight in shooting a mine, when you could shoot the player?

In stead of using PMN mines you could always use M2 mines also. M2's blow up with one shot, and they dont stick out as much.
M2 mines don't blow up when shot, though, at least not with a couple of rounds. It takes about a full magazine to get rid of one.
