SOCOM 3 Camping Tips(wewt)

SOCOM 3 Camping is much more difficult from SOCOM 2, as there are multiple places to hide, and to be shot from.

Demolition Camping

Usually, your going to place yourself in sight of the bomb.
Do NOT do this. You'll just have a bullet being rammed up your *** by a 50cal. Position yourself behind a LOW obstruction, and prone so you can see roughly the area where the bomb is. As soon as he grabs it, just get up and follow him.
The main mistake most people make is shooting too soon. Wait until he is clearly running in a straight line and you KNOW you can get a headshot or waste him before can turn around.
If you die, too bad for you.
If you get him, pick up the bomb and run back towards your camping spot, and make your way to their base from there.

Now, if your at your base camping, you'll want to have a view of the door. Usually you also want to have your back to a wall or in a corner. Taking a camping spot most people usually lose will only get another shot put into you.
Wait until they open, and then close the door(or just go inside) and then get up and follow. If there is an extra entrance, go through there. Kill them(and defuse the bomb if it was planted).

Convoy Camping

Usually, most people are going to attempt to snipe the driver. What I do, is bail on the convoy vehicle and let it roll slightly down the road, and shoot anyone who is shooting at it with their rifles, like the classical SOCOM Moron.

If your attempting to kill the convoy, use an automatic rifle, that can also use a high-powered scope. Attempt to snipe them, but if they get within 20 meter's, shoot the hell out of them. You never want to camp on the side of a mountain or far off to the side of the road. You want to be in front of them where you'll always have a clear shot at their head through the window.

Vehicle Camping

If your the last one on your team against 3-8+ people, you'll want to watch an empty vehicle. Chances are, if they have any sense, they'll take a vehicle to cover more ground. (If you have M2 Mines, plant them in front and behind the vehicle). If you have a sniper, position yourself so you have a clear view of the windshield and the driver's seat. If you have an automatic, sit roughly beside the vehicle(as hidden as possible) and wait for someone. If you have naught but a pistol, well, your pretty much ****ed. Either way, you'll most likely whipe out 1 or more of them if they go after the truck.

All Types of Camping
Please note, If your going to even utilize these tips, dont be a ****tard and have a pile of bodies in front of your camping spot. Move around so they look where they think you last were.

(If you want any more tactics posted, tell me in wich type of camping you want, and I'll post 'em up for you)

Lol this is gold for campers. I do not spawn camp usually, but I can say I have had my fair share of spawn camping lol. Come on, it's tempting. These are some great tips Spike.

He's not teaching you how to spawn camp. Just camping in general. Spawn campers suck. Anyways good job Spike.

I could show how to spawncamp, but since I hate the morons, Nein. I'll keep my super-ultra tips for that to myself.

Sit and wait for someone to spawn so you can kill them before they move. Woops I just released your secret tip sorry.

Camping is all good, but I recommend moving around (silently) to different locations every now and then.

Spike ever heard of sitting behind a wall and wait for people. Just because you spawn camp doesnt mean you never move from your original spawn. Simply sit in a building and wait for someone to come by. Oops i did it again. Nice tips but its not hard to camp

Well you can say that all you want but I sneak up on many a camper every day who could've greased me if he had been covering himself properly.
