That would be a good way to not only eliminate the enmy vehicle, but to gain one for your team.
I only grab mines in convoy rooms, which is rare because 99% of the time I'm a terrorist. If I join a game already in progress and I happen to be a SEAL, then I may use mines. In convoy rooms, you are mainly planting them for the cargo trucks, because you can use the techs for destroying the cargo trucks.
