How many Socom games do you think Zipper is going to create?

How many Socom games do you think zipper is going to create before they stop, shut down or something? I would have to say like I don't know.Maybe Socom 10. I don't really know how long these games last.

Well they're going downhill from here. But when the PS3 comes out I doubt it will be bad since they are trying to put so much information into the PS2 that it's causing so many problems. Who knows, maybe it will be like Final Fantasy and keep on going as long as they don't stray too far away from where they began with the series.

They will contunie to make Socom games as long as we all keep buying them.

It all depends on the market for the game. Right now, there is a huge market for online war games. I would have to say that its just exploded the past years. I cant tell you what to expect from a PS3 iteration of the game, but I can tell you they got more than enough room to put just about anything they can think of on the disc. Seeing as how SONY is forking over the serious dinero for blu-ray drive technology, a standard PS3 disc will be able to hold 43gB of data. Yes, I said 43gB. As a comparison, most dual layer discs for the PS2 (think God of War and GT4) are about 9gB of data.

socom 4 is in the makes, and socom 5 is what i think will be last...but then again, this is their biggest online francise..soooooo we will see in the future

I can't answer your question but I really think Sony will do a very good job with this game. When they actually do make a game, they make a great one. They are really gonna do good things Zipper messed up on.

Yeah we all pretty much know a 4th installment is gaurunteed since sony just took over, but I dont think they will make more then 5...
