Pistol smgs

i think that smgs should be part of your pistols. i read about them, and they aren't much bigger then a big pistol(mark or de) and use the same ammo as a pistol does. it would also be a help to snipers because a smg has better range,is atoumatic, and is more accurate. also in sc3 you can put the same attachments on a smg and pistol, the only extra it the red dot, which i think isn't really that helpful. its just an idea, but i think it would be really cool.

no because then we would have snipers running around with F90's

Yea, its kinda a bad idea for Socom 3, but for Fireteam Bravo it works well. And isnt the F90 and assault rifle in the game, not a smg?

The F90 is a SMG, not assault rifle.

My only wish is that they would hook up the SEALs with something like the Beretta M-93R to counter the Terrorist Model 18.

I think that having an SMG over a pistol would be a fine addition to the game, but with limitations... for instance, the SEAL team would be restricted to the MP5K, and the terrorists to an Uzi (minus the buttstock, non silencable)... the stock MP5 and the P90 are too bulky

It may give the snipers more of a chance to defend themselves, which is bad, but it also takes away from which attachments he can use for his rifle, or which items he can take

plus, it would really hurt them in weight........so their mobility using that SMG would be severely compromised......but it should be up to the player

SMG's are very light in the game, but i agree a sniper with an F90 is quite the owning set-up.

hmm

No offense but your all retarded, the whole basis of 1 primary is to keep it fair, if you have somebody running around with a sniper rifle and an smg, thats all you will ever see, not to mention if your using an assault rifle you should be able to have on as well, who wants somebody with an m4, and an hk5?? Now stop being dumb and realize its a game and you have to have limits. And while were on the subject of "Well if was in this situation i would have a sniper and an smg, lets remember that you wouldnt be weighed down with 50 lbs of sniper rifle anyway, so the subject on carrying the extra smg cause its small doesnt carry any presidence in the matter because of the weight rule, for that matter if it were real i would carry as many guns with me as i could sit down and hope not to die, so all of you plz be quiet, Signed Stalker7d7's older and much wiser brother, Toasty

That would be retarded. Everyone would walk around with a sniper for long range, and a SMG for short range. It would be the uber combination. After a few months it will turn into a "HEY YOUR USING A SMG IN UR PISTOL SLOT, VOTE HIM".
