Yes, the 150 and the 90 are the same thing exepct the 150 has some bomb quality...
The ext. cord won't matter, I have one that I'm typing with right now.... works fine...

-Scy, I've got a 150, and I've gotta tell you....
Getting GOOD QUALITY is hard as a mother.... I use an S-Video and my quality's barely as good as others that I've seen.... I don't know what hte problem is, but I'll tell you what's up when I work out the problem, I guess.

Try messing with your settings, and use Pinaccle to record just one time... I want to see the quality from it on differnt Dazzles...

When you have a Dazzle 150, you can ONLY use Pinnacle Studio 9 to record. Any other Dazzles can be used by any other program (90/95's and below).

Well I want to make videos. So I am thinking of buying this Pinnacle Systems - Dazzle Digital Video Creator Platinum - 230100037 is that what I want? Is it good or no?
I have the s-video cables that otter posted already. I don't have a high speed USB port so not sure if that will effect anything. My computer is not the best so I don't know if it will be able to handle all this ****.
Answers anyone?

If your comp sux you might get dropped frames and it'll look like you're lagging (see most of punx's s3 footage)...but idk what the platinum is or how to set it up. If you have the s-video cable though that should be all you need. I'd stick with a dvc 90 personally =\

The platinum is the same as DVC90 but better quality. Take a look...
With USB 1.1, the speed of transfer will be slower than 2.0 and you also need a lot of RAM when you capture video.

only run your capture program when doing it so only that is taking up RAM to reduce dropped frames?
