When you're editing, there is a little camera pic under the preview screen, and beside that, a film reel pic. Click the film reel pic to cut wherever you want to.

A+ Thanks a lot...I've been trying to do it in the Timeline, big mistake. One more thing, I've have only done all my vids with the s3 audio. When I want to add a song to the vid instead of the audio, do I capture the vid with the audio still on or do I like capture it from a mic and not have a mic connected so there is no audio? If I leave the audio on, how do I have the music play instead of the audio?

On the left side there is a picture of a microphone. Click it and drag the thing to the left to play only music or leave in middle to play both.

No you don't need the red plug..the yellow is video, white is audio(left audio) and red is right audio. You don't even need audio when you're recording Socom, because usually you put a track instead of the in-game sounds. However, if you wanted sound, yes, you could use the white plug, without the red one.

Some videos work with sound, some don't. It depends. You definately don't need it though.

Recording Socom With An RFU Adapter
How to Record Socom Without AV cables
Stickied by Go Pre
This is how to record Socom if your TV looks like this:
The first thing you need is an "RFU Adapter":
As you can see, the cable plug goes from the RFU Adapter straight to the TV. You will aslo need any type of Pinaccle Dazzle or capture card. I have a Dazzle 80, so I guess I'm going to have to do it with that:
The last thing that you will need is this awesome cable :
Plug the AV (Audio Video) cables into the RFU Adapter like so:
Then plug the extra cable (S-Video Cable) into the Dazzle (or whatever capture card you have):
Finally Plug the other end of the Dazzle (USB Cable) into your computer:
Now you are ready to start recording... open your program, go to capture, then have it record the SVideo instead of AV... hit record, edit, produce, get ratings...
Then host it at a hosting site such as RapidShare Webhosting + Webspace
Happy Movie Making

Was the same thing, but yeah, it's a different way. Sony makes the adapter you showed for ps2, the one in my thread. That's cool though, never seen an adapter like that...kinda looked like a Dazzle 150. I know 80's are cheaper, but 90 lets you transfer VHS to DVD, which is also what I use it for. Good post

I believe that cable you mentioned was a Mad Catz Universal Composite/S-video cable... I could be wrong but that looks just like mine.
And for everyones information that cable is around $10.
How much was your RFU Adapter, GraFF?
