Actually the silencers dont decrease the number of hits it takes to kill. The silencers only shorten the range of the weapon.

i have tested it and yes it does weeken ur bullets.
silencer=4 shots chest
no silencer=3 shots chest

hit to legs or hand=4 shots silencer or no silencer

which is weird cuz every one knows that it normaly takes 3 shots to kill some one:bad gas:

The shortened range means that the bullets lose more energy at a distance giving the impression of less overall power. At close range the power is unnaffected.

Exactly. I myself always use a silencer but sometimes in long range gunfights with non-silenced weapons it does feel like my gun is weaker sometimes, but what you say makes sense.
