I honestly can not seem to be able to find any reasonable rythm with the HK7, I mean it's aight for camping, but not much else. With the fire rate it has and the 20 round clip, good luck taking on more than 1 person. But then again, different strokes for different folks.

Wait is the HK36 a assualt rifle? and HK5 those rock zi used to use it on harvester and man even from a range I just get head shots like nuts... the HK7 is good for citadel since its close combat 95% percent of the fights

Just put them laser rifle and silencer and the HK36 wich rocks just put front grip and silencer or just a scope either way the HK36 will make ya proud.

man. i really really like the hk7. the only reason i dont use it more often is the short clip. they should've made an extra attachment for the smgs called "extended clip" so the 9mm, the hk7's the hk5's, could get an extra 20-30 bullets out of them. make it heavy whatever, but make it fair. all the smg's should be able to go up to 50 bullets like the f90. that's just my opinion. if the hk7 could have 50 bullets it still wouldnt be as good as the f90 because i believe it has shorter range, but it would be more competitive. as for the hk5, i dont have much luck w/it. i've tried using it many many times, and i can't seem to break even w/kills and deaths. the hk7, i do alright with in fire fights of 1 on 1, but i always have to pack double ammo, and some fights, i go through 2 or 3 clips before i can kill my opponent. if i have two guys shooting me at once, i can't make the clip last from badguy no.1 to bad guy no.2. if i were using like an iw, stg, m4, m16 etc, i can generally kill 2 people w/1 clip.

Both of the HK are very useful and good I think, the HK-5 is good for CQC and a little range and is very silent. I use it alot on smaller maps or when the map size is set to small. The HK-7 is almost the exact same in my eyes but I dont use it as much becasue of the small clip size and the rate it shoots. I seem to be reloading as much as shooting and you need double ammo with it if there are lots of people in the room.

the more i use the hk7 the more i like it. w/the silencer, and you need 2x ammo, but it's about as close as you get to the hk5k, except for the clip size, but you add a silencer. i think it's just as strong w/the silencer as w/out....

me myself I prefer the hk-36 with a suppessor and the x4 scope, excellent to snipe with...example-mission with first lady I have my team get down I then use the scope to ensure that the 1st lady is missed by my line of fire and while the enemy is firing and missing me my shots are all head shots--- of the hk series its the only one I use

The only hk that I actually almost like is the hk-36. I usually put a front grip on it with a rifle laser or a surpressor. I realy dont care for the hk series at all. I hardly use them unless the romm is limited to them. I feel that they dont have enough range but up close they can be effective,

i really like the smg's. i dont think socom 3 gives them enough credit as i've said before, but as it was in socom 2, if you practiced enough w/any gun you could get good at it. i.e. you get some people on s2 that swear by the m40a1. a clanmate of mine loved the hk5k, i had another guy that would only use the hk5sd on ruins and vigilance, etc. i figured if i put enough time into using the hk5 or hk7 i could get good w/these guns on socom 3 maps. i've roughly gotten about 100 kills w/the smg's in the past whenever i made my first post on this thread (week ago maybe) and i am nothing but frustrated to say the least. i'll have games w/the hk7 where i'm getting vicious headshots the entire time. other times, i can't take one guy down that doesn't know where i am for 3 clips. i've been focused on just small maps because i figured that'd be the best place for me to have success the soonest so i wouldnt get discouraged... the hk5 i can barely break even with. again, wicked headshots, and since i'm in so close-range when i hit the enemies head i can see it and i know it but it's so infrequent it's not worth the amount of deaths i'm putting into it. the hk36 i havent even really spent too much time with... maybe this weekend.

the HK5 and the HK7 don't stack up to the HK36........its got the best combination of ROF , Range and Accuracy even with a silencer. The HK5 just doesn't hve the range execpt for specialized circumstances. And the HK7 just seems to be a waste of the design teams time.....if your gonna use the HK7, you might as well just figure out another tactic using another weapon because it is a poor match for weapons like the F90 or the RA-14. I mean, how many people have you seen using one? HK36 all the way if your a seal......but if you are, that sucks
