It's a combination of the two, on SEALS crucible convoy, one seal can snipe all the drivers and people coming through the arch or bottleneck.
Like someone said before, it's not really a matter of tactical teamwork but overall teamwork and understanding. You just gotta go for the objective with the team basically, not really work together as one.
Like Convoy for terrorists, you gotta folow the Convoy and protect it.

For one thing u were right about thw socom2 thing
But the Socom 3 is almost all right
for 1 thing u cant beat 3 ppl when all those 3 ppl are shooting at u
but u can snipe all 3
or snipe 1 or 2 and pistol whip the other 1
theres lots of different ways to kill 3 ppl
with only 1 person

Last night I got 7 kills in one round with an M82 and Model 18 on Devil's Road. Funny thing was, I only sniped 2 of them.

Using teamwork can be very valuable. Remember, you don't have to be next to each other on the map to use good teamwork (bunched up=frag fodder).

I think it takes 50% skil and 50% teamwork to really own on this game.

Just my opinion though.

Teamwork vs. One good solo player

well ive took the time to read everyones opinions so heres mine. My clan is based on teamwork and i preach it all the time but im also very leathel on my own too. i think alot of it depends on how the other team is playing. but good communication within ur team always helps.

The way I see it it's not about who's better or who has better teamwork, it's about who plays smarter and knows how to handle certain situations.

And that's my 2¢.

I agree that you do need to use team work at times but i also agree with $ilent in the fact that that 1 person can outsmart the 3 or more people in the other team.

For example in citidel small my clan mate was the only one left on our team and he was against 5 people so he hid on that helicopter pad area by the terrorist spawn behind a box and waited for the SEALs to come look for him. Surely enough all 5 of them came over and he leaned to his right and shot them 1 at a time. Now thats smart.

Exactly, its not always about skill and teamwork, but more on who has the best smarts. Its 3 v 1, and the 3 guys all scatter and the 1 guy picks a spot and picks off the three guys and wins. You need smarts sometimes too you know. But if the 3 guys corner this guy or stick together then its going to be hard for the 1 to win. I agree and disagree like most others.

There is an inescapable reality on Socom3. That is that there are WAAAY more mediocre and crappy players than skilled ones. This means that in order to win consistently, and over the long term, teamwork is vital. Clans are a very important way to develop teamwork. When players are together frequently, they understand each other better, and are more efficient at their tasks. Just try being a "lone wolf" in a 16v16 room, and see if you can be a hero all by yourself. (not often).
This does not mean that a good player cannot have a dramatic effect on the outcome of a game, just that over the long term, "teams" will outperform "superstars".

I agree with the Rod. Even if the individual members are very skilled, they will have an even better effect on the team if they use teamwork.
