Yeah that pretty weird, it has happened to me too. I've shot people from close and far ranges and seen blood from a head shot and they won't drop. I know its a different game but in S2 when you saw blood fly out from somones head, he normally dropped unless it was laggy. but the times that happened to me in S3 there was no lag and I'm 100 % sure i had head shots on somone of them and nothing.

its kinda annoying too, normally when i see blood fly out from somone's head, i normally let go of the trigger right away (you gotta saw some lead for the next guy ) just to find out hes still up.

Wanderer u want to make a table with all the guns and every attachment possible. We should make a 100% accurate official one and hope it becomes a sticky.

It could be in the Socom3.com Official Strategy Guide (S3COM OSG) if it's 100% accurate, and yes I've love to. It'd be easier on me to put on all the attachments in the table with an HTML table than on Wordpad or something, because I have more room to work with via HTML.

I try to fit it into one page with wordpad, but the HTML will let me make everything relatively sized.

You may wanna go through your data again... Im not trying to be a nay sayer but off the top of my head I know both the M14 and M16 have a range of 120m, after that the scope shows lines.

One thing I've noticed incorrect is the M87 and M82 DO have max ranges, as I have on a few occasions needed to move closer for my hits to kill a stationary enemy.
I've shot people with a 1-shot kill at 180 meters.. well into the fog on all levels that no one can see through.... I saw a muzzle flash in the fog, aimed, killed. If you have evidence that there is a max, and can tell me the scenario so I can attempt to recreate it, that'd be great!

heh, not QUITE done yet, I lied. I need to test out the other range-deductors, like the grenade launchers.

Hey Wand3erer, thanks for taking the time to do this and post it here. This is awesome info. Have you tested the killing power and accuracy of these weapons also?

This data was collected through experimentation by Invoke and Bike Thief. If any of this info is incorrect, or we forgot something, let us know.

We still have to collect data on the effective range of the Grenade Launcher-modded guns... but that should be all

that range is WRONG!
with M4A1 with suppressor 2, when scoped in, i have gotten the max of 100m im not sure if it can effectively kill from that far, but if you see the numbers, doesnt that mean u can kill?
