Wacker, don't interrupt threads making a post about how everyone but you sucks. We play single player to get the unlockables, not to prove how macho we are like you do. So please, don't interupt people's conversations with a dumb comment like that.

Single player seemed way to easy then the previous socom's. Even Captain and Admiral seemed the same as commander. What I was surprised to see was that an enemy could be a few meters in fron tof you and would not notice you. Most of the game all my kills were headshots because they would just sit there. The AI was pretty weak. I thought if you would fire an un-supressed shot at an enemy, more AI enemies "hear" the shot and would come to the location. The only time it seemed the AI did anything was like the mission where you had to disarm the missles and would have to get to the radio before they send for backup. I thought the enemies would be more like Metal Gear AI. Otherwise it was fun....not as challenging as the first one, but fun.
i am pretty new to socom really. played socom 2 a bunch online but never beat the game. im currently playing on ensign and im stuck on the last mission
I beat the game just on Commander. I will eventually beat in on Captain and Admiral (probably when there is a school break). I don't really understand why barely anyone likes the single player... I think it's fun because I love the tactics and strategy involved (unless you just run-n-gun through the missions). Because I take my time on the missions and try to fullfill every objective possible. But that's just me... :? .

ya i hope like if socom 4 is released that they release more campains for it every couple of months or so
more enoyable single player, i liked it... i beat on commander and half of captain.... it was funny looking for that one guy and finding him in a hole... talk about saddam reference, it was the last mission in north africa and he was the general guy... also Brewed Chaos sucked hard and loud....but it'll be easier with all these new weapons... hehehehh
I beat it on admiral the other day. Honestly, I don't think the game's difficulty changes with the different ranks.
To test this, play a mission on ensign then do the same one on admiral. It's the exact same.
