Hi I'm new to the forums but I think I'll be posting more once SOCOM III gets released here. I just had a few thoughts about some of the weapons on your list. I may be wrong but here are my thoughts:

1) For where you've put 'M16A2 (Real Designation: Colt M16A2 *Former AR-15*), I think an AR-15 is just the civilian model of the rifle. It has a shorter magazine capacity and no bayonete (sp?) fixing point. M16A2 is just the military designation given to the rifle I believe.

2) For X-M8, the X is there because it was a prototype. But I think it now has a final design and if being field tested. So I believe it is just a regular M8 and not an X-M8.

Yea, that correct, except for the XM8, it's still in developement so it's still XM8, last i heard is their trying to figure out how to stop the thing from melting when it overheats


on another note, the 12 gauge shotgun is the Benelli M1 not a remington

hmm, the only gun that matched the ak-105's accuracy in S2 was the M16, at least in my eyes. If you set the 105 to single shot and just pow pow pow...endless headshots from any distance. I REALLY miss being able to pop someone from any distance, especially with something like the mac-10.
