Don't ban a weapon. Why would u ban a weapon when its in the game? Everone bought the game and that weapon is in the game. The only weapons I hate are the M203, MGL, M79 and rockets.

I said I hate them but I didn't agree for banning them did I? And we where talking about the M14 and I think they don't have to ban that weapon.

Ban a weapon? WTF. You can't just ban a weapon because you get killed by it often. Seriously, if you want this gun banned, never be an admin or other "high spot" in a video game. That's just corrupt. I could imagine you guys as admins in a Counter Strike server. WTF that DE always kills me, BANHAMMER. Figure out ways to get around it, stop rushing and use your freakin heads.

The only reason people think the M14 is a noob weapon is because 80%of the terrorist community uses it. It has a really frickin fast fire rate, a 20 bullet clip, and a recoil that could take off your arm. By the looks of that, it is a pretty hard gun to use. Reload every 3 seconds. M14 people are easy to kill, get em when there reloading. The reason people are good with it is because they PRACTICE with it. What, peopple got good with a gun?!?! "No that cant be... its NOOB GUN!"

The same thing could havee hapened with an STG 77 if more peopple used that... You wonder why people are good withh a 552SD? They practice!! So all of you eople that call ANYTHING noobish, go **** off and die. :D Pussies :D There is no such thing as a noob anything... there is just different guns with different strengths and weaknessess, try and exploit the weaknessess, you'll so better!

Ok you want my argument:

1) It is very over powered, it takes alot less bullets to kill someone than any other gun.
2) It can be easily "sprayed" meaning that the skill level taken to use the gun is very low.
3) It is relied upon by many socom players as terrorists and sometimes as seals. Many people use nothing but it.
4) It is a very untactical gun, you can charge straight into a mass of people and take them down with it. Other guns you may have to think about how to take them out, but with the m14 you just charge.

If you present an argument like that, I will take what your saying in to account. At the moment I am finding it very hard to find any usefull points in your post.

Ok now it's my time. I start from day 1. Socom2 is in stores i buy the game ok!! Sow the first minute i played the game i HATED all the weapons. All the weapons seems to be so much different in socom1.

Then the second day i played i saw the weapon. The m14. I played with it i thought what a stupid weapon 20 bullets in a magazin wtf that is little. But i like it very much and i played it with both sides. And i rocked since that moment. Everybody laughs at me. haha how can he even hit someone with that weapon way much recoil bla bla. Sow they laughed at me and i Killed them.

No evertbody's is using the gun and now its going to be band. Same reason as the IW. Everyone used it now it is banned. M60 - everyone used it it got banned.

im suprised that this thread is still alive & kicking, i check back here now and then and have a little chuckle to myself, its pettyness, its a laff...
i get killed by allsorts of weapons, i dont moan about it though, i just carry on and try and outwit the enemy in the next round, simple as.
whats it going to be like when s3 comes out, OMFFFFG

I play on American servers, but this is an intresting topic.

I am for the M14.

1. It is a SEAL gun and a Terrorist gun. Therefore, both teams can indeed use this gun against each other.

2. I agree that it is a spray and pray gun, BUT a more accurate gun can take this one down. The M16 can take someone down in 3 shots. The m14 is two. But from a distance, its a little harder to kill them.

3. The gun shoots so fast, that inless your crosshairs are targeted at the enemy, you are gonna have to reload and thats when the M16 has an advantage.

4. The recoil is bad. Inless you aim low and let the recoil help you, you arent gonna kill squat.

Once again these are whant I think and my opions only. Jezz, I tried to make it as presentable as possible. Thanks
