i hear ppl keep saying im gonna beat it on admiral to unlock stg and iw
is there more than 1 stg and iw? because if u beat single player on any difficulty u unlock stg 77 and iw-80 a2
im kinda new so if this is dumb plz dont make fun

No there's only one STG-77 and only one IW-80-A2.

If the IW and STG are already unlocked for online play, they can be unlocked for use in single player mode.

No you unlock it by beating it on Admiral which is the hardest difficulty. Beat the game on Ensign first then go through all the difficulties and you will unlock everything you need.

Wow I can't believe no one could give a straight forward answer.

If you have Socom Combined Assault everything is already unlocked except for the new pistol and this gernade launcher but it doesn't matter because if you did get enough badges to get them they don't appear online anyway. However if you have Socom Combined Assault all the characters and STG and IW are unlocked.

If you have Socom 3 then you have to beat the single player game on Commander to get the characters and to unlock Captain difficulty then beat Captain difficulty to unlock the medium scope and front grip and unlock Admiral mode. THEN you have to beat admiral mode to unlock the STG and IW. You have to play the single player 3 times to get the STG and IW on Socom 3. You do NOT need to play it on ensign or lieutenant.
