I dont suggest getting the headset for single-player... its only good for multi-player. You can just here the lady talk about the mission off the tv set you dont need the headset for it. On the otherhand if you get online then i suggest you get it. Cant play without it pretty much.
using a headset on single player is worthless and stupid it doesnt always work and sometimes takes forever use it only online.
or not the choice is urs.
I'm gona buy Socom 3 sumtime this week but i dont av ma ps2 online so is it worth spendin a little more an gettin the headset for single player.
no way you might aswell set fire to your money. the voice recognition is sh*t and you have to speak down it just right for your team mates to pick it up and carry out that order.
