Hmm... In a way I suppose they are due to its moslty a sandy level, so the yellowish/ brown kit is the best for it.

Ghillie suits are some what useless depending on what style of player you are. If your tactical and sit back in your spawn with a supressed weapon and just camp then they are useful but if you are a gunner or qser you must be light so you can be mobile and move easily. Ghillie suits are one of the most heaviest things that you could equipe yourself with. For myself i would say their useless..

I never use the ghillie suits unless i'm going to be sniping with a silent weapon the whole time, they are way to heavy and take up a vital spot that could be used for a rocket launcher :>

When I was a socom 3 noob, I always used the ghillie suits.
As I played more, I realized how pointless and stupid they are, and stopped using them.

they are the same wieght as a claymore, so u cant carry as much. but they make u harder to spot when ur in prone or at a distance cause both the seal and terrorist ghillies look the same. they are usless when ur running though.
so u might as well beat the game on admiral to get everything.
