Are the ghillie suits worth unlocking?

I've beaten Socom 3 on admiral level several times and redeployed many times but I've never had access to ghillie suits or other characters. The only mission where I had a ghillie suit was on the recon in Poland.
I was under the impression you had to beat all levels on the Fire Team Bravo to unlock these features on Socom 3.
I know this has been asked probably a thousand times and I apologize but I would really like to know.

Of course it's worth it. Ghillie suits are the greatest and are easy to get seeing as how Socom 3 is probably the easiest to complete in single player. Even on Admiral the game is a snap. I never even made it past the last level on Commander on Socom 1 and Socom 2 got a little dificult with each progressive level but wasn't too tough to complete.

Are you playing single player or online? If the PSP is anything like the PS2 then of course you won't get all the weapons or clothing while on singleplayer => even if u beat it on Admiral there are still some restricitions on single player but what u unlock u can use online, also there are a lot of bonus/crosstalk objectives u have to complete to unlock certain features in case u didn't know.

Forgot to mention that I was playing single player mode. Thanks for your response to my stupid question. I guess the ghillie suits are mainly multi-player use.

They aren't worth it, but you have to go through them to get the front grip, medium scope, and STG, so you'll end up getting them if you want thsoe. The front grip, medium scope, and STG are entirely worth it, but the ghillie is a waste. All it does is promote laying in a bush, and it's heavy as hell anyways. It's useless.

I like them for some maps. Like on Harvestor they are pwnage. I do agree with you on the STG, medium scope and front grip part though. That is one of my favorite combos just about. STG+Front Grip+Silencer=PWNAGE!

hahaha...i havent heard that siince the early socom 2 years...wonderfull word/typo!!

But back on topic...HELL yes they are worth getting,if you dont you will get..dare i say......PWNED on maps like Harvester,Storm Front, ect...

I like them besides the fact that they weight you down. I really only like them on grassy maps and all desert. They work the best on BIG maps because there is more places to lay down and snipe.

Even tho I hate the map...I love wearing them on Storm Front that map sucks, if you wear it on Storm Front, and lay in a corner, you are damn near invisable**

Its worth it big time. Every time I use a ghillie people walk by me all the time and didnt even see me.
