The AI does drive!

I made quite an interesting discovery yesterday on the mission where you have to capture FATCAT. I was in the 1337 hummer with my team and i switched to the top turret to take out enemy technicals. As i was shooting, we were being pelted with fire from both of them to the point where i was near death and the car was about to explode. Suddenly, the hummer jerked backwards and backed up behind a big rock. Now, i was surprised to say the least, but the only explanation i could find was that the ai driver just pulled us out of danger. Interesting.

i love that mission.. it was soo cool and connected with like 3 online maps.. harvester, fault and blackwoods. so sweet.

And thats very cool of the AI to recognize that the hummer was going to blow up, and backed the truck up behind cover. VERY COOL.

I don't understand why they can't drive. They never drove for me. I died more than once because they suck with the turret so i have to go up there, then I get nailed because we are sitting still.

Weird. When i play, they are better with the turret than people online are.

Close to the truth, no doubt. I do find that my AI team is fairly accurate on the turret. I wish they were as swift to act on foot. I can drive quite madly in the hummer and even though I might be circling out of control the AI seems to have n/p taking out enemies.

I purposely drove into the thick of fire and started doing skid circles in one place and my ai took out at least 10 enemies within 30 seconds.

yea if the AI is in the driver seat they will

1.take you out of danger (sometimes)
2.make it so you have a better shot if someones behind a rock
3.stay still and let you get killed then they call to HQ and say your dead

Yeah, that Mission is Kickass. Also in the very first mission where you get the two Dunebuggies, they also drive. If they start out of the car walk up to it, tell them to mount up. You, you go to your car and drive off. Now, tell them to "Fire at Will."

lol thats funny reminds me when i was gonna post a couple weeks ago about my A.I. Was possed , I was on the same mission i think, and i was in a turret fighting a couple enemies when a gernade was thrown and my car jerked forward and started to drive than it cut off and rolled to a stop and the gernade blew up where we were sitting :-/

Then you, my friend, have never seen me shoot from one of the mobile turrets.
