For weapons, you can give your team whatever you think is good, for Specter I usually like using any assault rifle with high or medium scope. Go with whatever you feel most comfortable with.
I've done it with the M16 and M14 with a High Scope and laser, but the other day I tried with the M8 attaching a bipod and Medium Scope. Worked out alright(I like using the bipod, good for when you go out on the roof), but when I had to go inside it took a few tries since those P/F90 enemies were spraying and their guns are much more accurate than the M8 when running around and stand/crouching.
For the first part, you can take the boat if you want(at least get in at some point to get the bonus), but you're bound to take a few hits although sometimes your team won't do so well on the RMG or on rare occasions they'll pop you with an RPG. If not, just do a careful sweep of the area, if you've done Waterworks you should know the area and where the enemies will be. Even if you don't, it shouldn't be too hard to find them all. Only one pistol enemy inside the safehouse itself.
The courtyard is also straightforward, just go to the upper area and take them all out, then check for the shotgun enemy that runs inside and waits.
As soon as you get the checkpoint inside the brewery to defend it, I like to have Bravo cover the east(point the crosshairs somewhere by the little drain thing on the floor so that they cover both entrances). They can be on the floor or on the upper level, doesn't seem to matter much. Then I usually leave Jester somewhere up top, as long as he doesn't follow as I go onto the roof and pick off the first waves(NW, NE, SE, NW).
After HQ tells you to go inside, I'll have Jester cover the west, and I like to run around on the upper areas, helping out as needed. When those 2 or 3 pop in through the roof it's usually best to take them out right away, since by then a lot will be streaming through the east. As much as possible, stick to the far south end, above the spot behind big containers. This is where Gryc will come from, and sometimes you'll get lucky and look out the window over looking the SE terrorist entrance and cap him before he gets inside. If he does get inside, he'll run right behind the tanks and just spray with his F/P90, taking them out in a few seconds. One time I got him, but after it said he died it triggered that explosion cutscene.

did anyone try capturing? Mironova and Gryc, it is almost impossible to capture anyone without Flash Bangs. The easiest way I beated the game was I sent Bravo, to the middle at the bottom floor, I set them to cover target and fire at will. They took care of anyone who was at the bottom floor, I set Able (Jester), to cover target and fire at will in the middle cat walk in the second floor, he took care of the two people that came in on the roof. And he was able to shoot the people inside from the top also. The first three waves are easy just snipe them from out the window, if they come from the North snipe them from the North 2nd floor window. South go out the window and Prone the AI will not see you if you have a silencer.

Basically what I did too, although jester wasn't able to shoot the guys who came in from the roof. Shocker. The A.I. on this game is terrible. :) But anyway...i had him up there, I was up there as well, and had a grenade launcher that I kept pointed on the double doors. Bravo was on the floor level and I kept having them clear the area. As soon as Gryc came in I hit him with the grenade.

It took a while for me. I had Bravo at the doors, the regular doors near the room where you go in to kill the scientist. I either chilled on the rafters or the upper platforms and shot down while my other alpha guy was down below. I also get a PMN mine where the head guy comes in and shoots, it was fun seeing him run in and just get blown the f up

I had M4A1 silenced on all4. Jester didnt shoo the guys on top they were shooting him instead lol, but it made it easy for me to take them out while they were shooting jester. Jester did shoot from that middle catwalk on the 2nd floor for the people coming through the doors and they couldnt see him.

Tell Bravo To Go To The Loft Tell Jester To Guard The Little Door Then Hide Behind The Boxes And Watch The Large Entry Way.

Here's what I do:
1. Defend the turret positions
2. Then I run around the brewery like an idiot shooting anything that comes through the doors.
LoL, try it. Works everytime for me
~It may help to have an MK.48 so you dont have to worry about your ammo running low

i had bravo sit n the bottom middle w/ Mk.48's while jester wuz watching doors. n i sat n the corner. Bravo pretty much took out all the waves. they got the ppl up top too. i sat n the back n waited for Gryc to come n the back. He alwayz seems to come at the last wave n shoot the generators from behind so i just waited, n took him out when he came. easiest way to defend it.

I got my team to enter the brewery from the side (up the ladder) offed ervyone inside. I put my team inside (second floor) Bravo team Hold position including Jester. I then took enemy out from the inside. When all hell broke loose I ordered team to fire at will (while holding position). I just helped them out with the straglers. I concentrated on the walk way behind the canisters (where Cyric would be going to destroy them). Sometimes it s a little tough but easy enough to do it. Weapons: close quarter, med scope. M4 or Hk36. Good luck - press hard.
