i beat it on admiral a few weeks back, it seemed to get shorter and easier with each rank to me but i've never played socom before so of course it got alot easier as i learned how to play. i must say though, on admiral there were quite a few times it took 2-3 shots from my M82A1A to take a guy down. once i shot a guy in his left leg, right torso and finally his head just to get it over with. very strange since if a M82A1A shot even touches you during online play you die lol.
also i found leaving my teammates with MK's w/ grip,laser in the middle of the brewery made it very easy. i just gunned down the incoming terrorists then went up the ladder and helped kill the last of the terrorists and the Doc from above.
I am starting off on Commander and going though completing 100 percent of the mission objectives to give me more unlockables.
My goal is to get the front grip and gullie suits.
yea, I finished Admiral and had a bit of trouble with the Brewery.
although my best Socom is the first one, I still like the third one, surprisingly.
last nite I tried the first mission using a shotgun and here's an idea:
play Socom III with the least suitable weapon like a shotgun or uzi. that makes the gaming more of a challange.
obviously you won't complete some of the objectives but who cares?
in that first mission I still managed to silence that radio in the fort.
Completed Commander in a few days carefully doing all thye cross talks and nothing but headshots!!Then I moved up to captian and since I did all the crosstalk objectives earlier I just ran through in on captian using the front grip and 4x scope to snipe!!Also that meduim scope+m16 is nasty!!Cant wait to get online and use those newly unlocked items.
I had a hard time on Brewery going outside and all that. So I took a few of you guys advuce and stayed inside and just sniped from 2nd floor and put bravo in hold position and able in the other doorway. Worked like a charm.
Yeah, its not a bad game for Single player its an easy game acctually. Cuz im on commander and people dont even shoot they just stand there like jackasses lol.
that's the point. socom 1 was quite a challange
the next socoms where challanges only as online games, but then is very chaotic, you just run and try to stay alive and gun down the enemies.
