I hate it when you have to run and play "Rescue the idiot teammates" in the middle of the firefight. Although this really didn't happen in socom 3 that much. I think it's because of the larger maps.
But OMG, in s2, uggg. Can't count how many times teammates have gotten me killed because of some simple ****. Like if you run and they spread out too far in the last leg of urban sweep, they all die. Or when they open a door, their AI screwes up, and you just know it, so you have to rush in to prevent a terrorist from making them a rifle butt receiver. And also when they yell out: "SNIPER!", then just stand around.
ditto, your team or morons, so i just go in first and dont worry about them, although most of the time they find some way or another to screw it up and go running headfirst into a tank or something ridiculous like that.
I'm wasn't really disappointed, it's just the fact that it was too easy. It had aim assist on admiral!

I agree with a lot of what you guys are saying here. Think of this. When I got Socom 1 I was new to ps2 so it took me a while to complete it (3 weeks on ensign). In fact I never completed it on admiral coz I got bored after 6 months. Socom 2, 2 weeks to complete admiral. Socom 3, 1 week to complete admiral. I don't know about you guys but I like a challenge with my games. The challenge with 3 was doing the game virtually single handed. What I liked about the first two, particularly 1, was that the enemy was so difficult that you could not complete it without your team. I don't how many times Boomer saved my neck. In 3 you might as well have my granny for all the use Jester is. Bravo run around like shop window dummies mucking things up, not shooting or obeying orders.
I thought the addition of vehicles was good but thats about it. They should have taken the difficulty of the first, added the improvements of the second and made three the best one. Instead we get a game more focused more on sonys profits rather than a game experience for the user.
i DONT KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS ARE TALKING ABOUT.socom1 sucked soooo bad. all i had to do was run around guns'a blazing ,throw a couple of nades.boom,then mission complete it was so stupid.i acually like the checkpoints on S3 cuz, think how hard it would be without them on the really long missions.like the poland area, mission i cant remeber what it's called. but it's got 3 mulitplayer maps all in 1. the maps on S3 are AMAZING!like ,there so interactive.on the desert area i felt like i was in black hawk down or iraq.i do agree it feel like 3 clips to kill one guy.but that why you aim for the head retards. i love the vechiles,ther so realistic.i also love the swimming thing and hiding underwater. I love the comments seal team make to,there so funny. the AI's are kinda slow, i wish ther were like metal AI"s.if you use you're team to get the kills for you ,you probaly suck real bad.i like getiing all the kills.i hate how they get stuck in rocks and stuff. but i really like when you kill or injure a teamate enough .you're seal team attacks you. it's realistic. unlike S1 where you just shoot all you're team and they dont do nothing.
