Socom 1 the maps were great. The terrorist Ai’s were aggressive. You could command the fire time to ambush to cross hairs. You could direct the team to move to cross hair’s in stealth. More basic useful commands.

Socom 2 the stealth mode was good. Bravo would follow orders very well. However, Zipper removed some commands. No ambush.

Socom 3 No ambush command and a poor command interface. It waste time and slows down game play. The fire time reacts to threats too slow. The hype over the weapons was a let down. Too much importance placed on driving vehicles.

This is only with 4 hours game play.
i agree, in socom 3, i havent noticed any commands where you can breach, just "open door" "deploy grenade" and the people you're suppsoed to capture are retarded too, they just shoot at you and you cant touch them. socom 3 offline lost its socom feel.

There aren't any missions like S1 or S2 for example where you actually have to capture the guy and escort him with you to the extraction...even the missions where you have to get the first mate and captain are weak...member prison break in S1 where you actually have to escort mr.pickle with you. What happened to those type of missions?

Use 22s because the bullets are small and they don\'t come out the other end like a 45, see a 45 will blow a barn door out the back of ya head, there\'s lot of dry cleaning involved, but a 22 will just rattle around like PacMan until you\'re dead

Socom 3
I'm currently on 'State Security' mission... From my point of view playing this game makes me feel like I'm playing a Medal of Honor game from PS1... Enemy/Fireteam AI sucks alot. I have computer players running into walls, and having to use my commands over, and over before they will do what I ask.

Don't even get me started on Fireteam shooting at enemys that don't see us... Hold fire doesn't even work?

The one thing that bugs me in single player, it seems like everytime you advance missionwise, it takes more hits to kill the enemy, yet your AI fireteam maintains stupid...

Yea the singleplayer was too easy. I beat it 3 times to unlock everythin in about 15 hours or so.

The enemey AI is not smar at all, they just stood there and did nothing at all. I would open up on the with a M16 and the ywould just stand there and not shoot half of the time. It was very short and extremly fast to beat. On the three difficulties, commander, captain, and admiral, I give it 12 hours to beat all of them.

Well, back when I was a noob, still wondering why there were no cheats for socom 1, I found it very difficult. I didnt bother with socom 2 because I hated the first one and was into racing games at that point. So, I finally got back into FPS's and TPS's and decided to give socom 3 a try. I LOVE IT :D ! I don't know what you guys are talking about! You say the commands are terrible...HOW? If you want your team to open a door and kill everyone inside, select breach, bang, and clear...EASY! If you want them to attack to somewhere, put on 'fire at will' and tell them to 'move to' and if you want them to stealth somewhere put on 'hold fire' and 'move to' . And MY team has great accuracy and kills enemies really well. You select 'clear area' and tag along, killing any they miss, providing your a whimp who doesnt like getting their hands dirty ! Haha, and if you (like me) enjoy walking up behind someone and shooting until there is enought blood to cover the room, tell your team to 'hold fire' and 'hold position'. If you DON'T like massacaring helpless terrorists, then go return the game. Thats just my thoughts on the subject. Thank you and by the way I'm new, so I hope I didnt offend anyone...well, I hope I offended gutless noobs that sit in a corner and tell their team to do everything...ok joking, but..ya I'll shut up now. Thanks for your time, oh great fellow SOCOMers.

Definently I think Fireteam on Socom 2 seemed to follow orders MUCH better. Entire S3 I never had them do anything unless absolutely needed. They never moved where I'd say at all, got stuck enough as well.

I agree... but I was pleasantly surprised with how GOOD the AI was for your teammate in FireTeam Bravo. Now that guy can kill tangos with the best of 'em!
