You could, but it isn't the best choice...mainly because your internet connection is being sent through space and all...or...isn't hardwired.
So you'd probably lag like you do with 56k.
Just keep going to the Comcast site and asking if it's available in your area....I did that and then a long time later, some Company was wiring a Cable wire down my 600 ft driveway, soon after I got Comcast.
