This comes from the october 2006 issue of game informer mag. Page 88. "Combined Assault players will have a wealth of cosmetic customizations at thier fingertips. This aspect is planned to be extensive enough that it'll be rare to encounter someone online with the same look as anyone else, so you should be able to recognize that spawn camping **bleep** on site rather than have to squint at nametags before gunning him down" Does this mean we can not customize are skins??? Whats your opinions?

I just copied what it said from the preview article. But yeah its basically saying make your own skins

customize skins! thats gunna be sweet..you know what else would be sweet..if you have one of those eye toys you could get ur face on ur guy lol i used to do that in tony hawk games haha but my fricken eye toy broke..oh well..lol but damn im gunna make my guy so sweet if you do all that crazy stuff..im so hyped up..

See Character Customization?
I posted a question on the Socom blog asking them to confirm/deny it.

I don't believe it. Something that serious would've been announced a long time ago.

well i posted up in that thread too......and i'm inclined to agree with you Omega......but, on the other hand if this is indeed in the game, maybe Zipper is keeping it quiet so as to give all of us faithfuls a pleasant surprise when we come home with CA......dunno that might help a little with all of us who have been disappointed repeatedly by them in the past.

I do know however that it will be BADASS if we can do this.....i loved that on Syphon Filter, the possibilities for player customization on that game were limitless and that's an OLD game.
