So my modem/router are behind my bigscreen and all i have connected to my computer is the little wireless box with the antennae connected via one USB cord. In short the router itself was $89.99 + $0 (Gaming Adapter)=HAPPY. I also have experienced no noticeable increase in lag as opposed to other setups.

While that is in deed a good idea, I cannot do that.
The computer in the living room, is brand new. So it could use the USB connection. However, the PS2 is in my room, and I do not have a co-ax cable running into my room. And, the computer in my room is about 9 years old, and will not support a wireless USB connection.
I will agree and say this is a good idea, but depending on the situation, depends on what you use.
For example, the gaming adapter helps make the wireless connection stronger. While the USB does not, so depending on how far apart your computer and router are, will tell you weather you can use a wireless USB adapter.
Myself, I also live in a mobile home, (YES, I don't want to hear any cracks about it either), and the connection is good most of the way, but it starts to suck when I get about 50 feet away. Not to mention, the computer is in the front room and my bedroom is in the back.
There are many factors that go into detemining what set-up you should go with.
