I think its stupid how if your playing a pistols only room or something, it gives you the added weight. or if your in a room without pistols, like DR so the snipers get screwed more, its much heaver. it gives you the heaviest load out for the gun. it sucks like heck to be a terr, cause the DE weighs a lot and it magically drags you down.

I'm pretty sure they made the weights screwed up like that to balance it out

for instance: in real life, the m14 is a ton heaver than the m16 (thats one of the reasons the army no longer uses it) but in socom the m14 is actually lighter than the m16. They made it like that because the m16 is better than the m14 (to most people atleast) same with the m4 and m16 and the mp5 (hk5) and the mp7 (hk7) as well.

and the shotguns weigh more then the SR/SASR. also the 9mm weighs the same as the supressor/pistol laser. plus the 9mm pistol with an attachment weighs the same as a Mark 23 bare. and the Mark 23 weighs the same as a Model 18.

whats i dont get is that the MP7 is supposed to weigh less then the MP5, but it doesnt. also the same thing goes for what u said about the M4 and the M16.

the whole weight system is ****ed up. real grenades dont even weigh 2 pounds, yet its like 10 in the game.

when you carry 4 nades its more then an rpg. and a rpg in real life is about 15 pounds.

Desert Eagle weighs more than the Hk5 and Hk7.

No they are not right, the M4 is heavier than the M16 even tho its suppost to be lighter.
