What's the longest you've gone without socom?
I looked at my stats online, and I haven't been on since 7.17.2006...


How long have you gone without playing, and I don't mean because of unavoidable reasons! I mean you could play it, but choose not too...

I've been abusing my other games, and learning the guitar... but I could have been killing brain cells on Socom... now I don't have the desire to play like I did a month ago. Maybe I don't need rehab afterall, lol.

I think mine was about a month, only because I lost my disc.

I take breaks from it every now and then, but usually no more than a week.

A very interesting topic. Thank you for putting it up.


September 2002 - I purchase socom and play straight through until the summer.

August 2003 - PS2 breaks and is sent in for repairs.

(2 months without Socom)

November 2003 - Purchase Socom 2 the day my PS2 gets returned to me.

April 2004 - Stop playing Socom 2 for FFXI.

(3 months without Socom)

August 2004 - Start Socom2 up again.

October/November 2004 - Releases of GTA:San Andreas and Halo 2 stop my Socom playing. In January I start up Wow, as well.

(5 months without Socom)

March 2005 - Find this site, get intreged about Socom 2 and Socom 3 again, start playing for the site clan.

August 2005 - Playing Beta

October 2005 - Purchase Socom3 and start playing

December 2005 - Stop playing Socom 3 due to lack of time and intrest.

(7 months without Socom)

July 2006 - Start playing Socom 3 again.

August 2006 - Respond to topic about Socom and time spent without it.

lmao, I love the whole bibliography thing... or is it autobiography... i think it's both... meh, but I digress.

OMG, you played FFXI?! My god that game is more addictie than socom, but less action and monthly payment... I had to stop cause the bank and my mom thought I was crazy.

a year! When i got socom 2 i was extremly addicted then my grades drop so my mom broke it into half lol...but socom3 maybe like 3 months
