Because s3 is complete and utter trash. He'll be back though, so many people, including myself, said they were quitting. The only person I know who actually has is Punx.
The longest I've gone is about a month. It's happened two times, one was for Area 51 (loved that game) and the other was for MGS:Subsistence. Lately I've been taking a few days to a week off due to the redundancy (real word?) of S3. But don't worry, I'll be back.

The most I have ever gone without playing Socom was in Socom 2 and that was for a good 4 months because I always had a game or something that had to do with my soccer team.
Although during those 4 months I got an eight pack and some toned arms.
Now I have only a six pack and no toned arms.
